History

In 1999, our President, Mary Ann Ida, RN, BSN, MPA, established J&K Home Care, Inc. Since that time, J&K has been assisting clients in need of home care, specialty health care services, and institutional staffing needs for hospitals, nursing homes, and schools.

J&K opened its doors in Windham, New Hampshire in September of 1999 and has experienced growth, gained respect, and established a reputation for providing quality, courteous, and dependable service. We anticipate continued growth in home care, school nursing, personnel, and other professional services.

J&K is Medicaid certified to provide services to clients entitled to these benefits and other government funded programs in addition to being an in-network provider for many private insurers.

Our Staff

When J&K provides services we strive to match our staff of caregivers to our clients needs. Our caregivers are fully screened, trained, bonded, and insured. Candidates for employment go through a battery of testing, interviews, exams, and background checks prior to becoming a member of our staff. Staff members are required to participate in our in-service program to keep their education and training current.

Focusing on providing quality services for our clients, matching quality caregivers to the needs of our clients is a key ingredient to a positive, productive, and lasting home care experience. At J&K we are diligent about making that match and place an emphasis on maintaining it.

Skilled Nurses
J & K prides itself on providing the highest skilled nurses for a wide range of specialty areas. All have been carefully screened and have worked in their field for many years. Whether you need a nurse on a short-term basis or long term, J & K will do its best to meet your needs.

Private Duty Nurses
J & K provides private duty nurses for those requiring ongoing care in the home. We have RN’s and LPN’s that specialize in the care of disabled children and young adults, chronically ill children and young adults, geriatric services, psychiatric care, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Please call us if you feel your child or loved one is in need of long term ongoing care in the home.

Licensed Nursing Assistants
LNA’s are carefully screened and are available to you for any personal health care needs for Activities of daily living. All LNA’s follow your unique care plan that has been customized by an RN.

Therapists
Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist are available for those requiring visits to help with mobility and activities of daily living. J&K also provides Animal Assisted Therapy for those that would like a visit from a certified therapy dog.
